The Lancia Stratos was designed with one purpose: to win rallies. Created around a radical wedge-shaped body by Bertone and powered by a mid-mounted Dino V6, it became one of the most successful competition cars of the 1970s. The Stratos won the World Rally Championship for manufacturers three consecutive times, in 1974, 1975, and 1976. Its short wheelbase, wide stance, and dramatic styling made it as memorable to look at as it was fast on the stages.
