959 Dakar Rally

The Supercar That Conquered the Desert

The 959 Paris-Dakar took supercar engineering into one of motorsport’s toughest environments. Equipped with all-wheel drive and specially developed off-road suspension, it tackled the gruelling journey from France to West Africa against purpose-built off-roaders and trucks. After a difficult debut in 1985, the brand returned in 1986 to secure first and second place. In a remarkable twist, a third 959 entered as a support car finished sixth. This brick model celebrates that extraordinary desert adventure—a distinctive addition for enthusiasts and collectors of motorsport icons.
